Award
COVID-19 Critical Community Challenge Grant

The VSM Lab has been awarded funds to continue with Phase 2 of the COVID-19 Critical Community Challenge Grant, which seeks to develop educational modules to address communication problems and vocal health in healthcare workers. This grant is funded by the Center for Clinical & Translational Science and the NIH's National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS). Phase 2 will begin this Fall.

The Center for Clinical & Translational Science and Training at Cincinnati awarded Dr. McKenna a grant to assess the impact of mask use on acoustics and vocal fatigue in health care workers. The project is funded through the NIH's National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS).
